INGILIZCE QUESTION WORD ORDER – SORU KELIMESI SIRALAMASI – TÜRKÇE KONU ANLATIMI

İngilizce öğrenenler için direkt sorular sormak zor bir iş olabilir çünkü İngilizce’de özne ve yardımcı fiil ters çevirilerek soru cümleleri oluşturulur.

Asking direct questions is a difficult task for English learners primarily because in English we invert the subject and auxiliary verb in the interrogative form.

We usually follow the same pattern for forming questions in all tenses.
(Soru cümleleri genellikle tüm zamanlarda aynı kalıp kullanılarak oluşturulur.)

FORM: (Question word) + Auxiliary Verb + Subject + Main Verb? ( Q-A-S-V)

For Example: (Örneğin:)

How does he travel around London? (O Londra etrafında nasıl yolculuk eder?) Q=How, A=does, S=he, V=travel

When did they get married? (Onlar ne zaman evlendi?) Q=When, A=did, S=they, V=get

Which sport can he play? (O hangi sporu oynayabilir?) Q=Which sport, A=can, S=he, V=play

What is he doing at the moment? (O şimdi ne yapıyor?) Q=What, A=is, S=he, V=doing

How many times has he been to London? (O Londra’da kaç kere bulunmuş?) Q=How many times, A=has, S=he, V=been

Where is she going to study next year? (O seneye nerede öğrenim görecek?) Q=Where, A=is, S=she, V=going to study

For questions without question words we follow the same pattern, just without the question word.
(Soru kelimesi olmadan sorularda da, soru kelimesi çıkartılarak aynı kalıp kullanılır.)

For example: (Örneğin:)

Does she go to school? (Okula gidiyor mu?)

Did they go to Berlin yesterday? (Dün Berlin’e geldiler mi?)

Can he play cricket? (O cricket oynayabilir mi?)

Are you watching TV at the moment? (Şu an televizyon mu izliyorsun?)

Have you seen the Blue Mosque? (Sultan Ahmet Camii’sini (hiç) gördün mü? )

Is she going to study next year? (O gelecek sene öğrenim görecek mi?)
