Yes / no sorularına verilen negatif cevaplarda “auxiliary” sıklıkla bitişik (kısaltımış olarak) kullanılır, “auxiliary” olumlu cevaplarda asla bitiştirilerek yazılmaz.

Short answers to yes/no questions are formed using the same auxiliary verb used in the question with the appropriate subject pronoun. We often use the contracted form of the auxiliary in the negative response, but never in the positive.
