INGILIZCE BE GOING TO – GELECEK ZAMAN – TÜRKÇE KONU ANLATIMI

Gelecek planları için “be going to + infinitive” şeklinde, söylenmeden önce planlanmış olan şeyler için kullanılmaktadır.

We use be going to + infinitive for future plans. It is used for things that someone decided to do before they said them.

We change the form of be according to the subject.
(“Be” formu öznenin durumuna göre şekillendirilir.)

For example: (Örneğin)

Positives: (Olumlu)

I’m going to work harder. (Daha sıkı çalışacağım.)

We’re going to have a holiday next year. (Gelecek sene tatil yapacağız.)

He’s going to lose ten kilos. (O 10 kilo verecek.)

Umut’s going to quit smoking. (Umut sigarayı bırakacak.)

Sarah’s going to get fit. (Sarah forma girecek.)

Negatives: (Olumsuz)

I’m not going to see you this weekend. (Seni bu hafta sonu görmeyeceğim.)

You aren’t going to play football tonight. (Sen bu gece futbol oynamayacaksın.)

They aren’t going to come to the party. (Onlar partiye gelmeyecekler.)

It isn’t going to rain. (Yağmur yağmayacak.)

Question Form: (Question word) + Auxiliary + Subject + going to + infinitive ?

For example: (Örneğin:)

What am I going to do? (Ne yapacağım?)

Where are you going to live next year? (Gelecek sene nerede yaşayacaksın?)

When is he going to arrive? (Ne zaman gelecek?)

Which movie are you going to see? (Hangi filmi izleyeceksin?)

Are you going to Ankara next week? (Gelecek hafta Ankara’ya gidecek misin?)

Is it going to snow tomorrow? (Yarın kar yağacak mı?)

NB: When we use going to with the infinitive go, we can leave out the “to go” and still have the same meaning.

(NOT: “Going to” ile mastar olan “go” kullanıldığında “to go” kullanılmasa bile anlam hala aynıdır.)

eg. I’m going to go to Japan. = I’m going to Japan. (Örnek : Japonya’ya gideceğim. = Japonya’ya gidicem.)

I’m going to go shopping on Saturday. = I’m going shopping on Saturday.

They aren’t going to go to the party tonight. = They aren’t going to the party tonight.
